Enter Ebola

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, better known as MEND, has been effectively disrupting the extraction of light, sweet crude from their corner of West Africa for years now.

This particular kind of oil used to be a major import into the US – before they discovered that they could get it closer through fracking.

But the fracking bubble may be about to burst, as the eager oil grubbers discover ever poorer returns from domestic fracking, and the actual people who have to live with it start wising up and becoming outraged by the environmental devastation it causes.

What to do, if you’re the world’s number one terrorist country?

I’m at grave risk of sounding like a tinfoil-hat-wearer now, but…enter Ebola.
