…And In The River

The melting Antarctic glaciers may, or may not, have anything to do with the days and days of non-stop rain we’ve been receiving in Joburg, but one thing I do know: if you’re driving home late at night after a few drinks, do not try to cross the low bridge into Bloubosrand at such a time.

You’ll end up, like this poor driver,  downstream a good few metres, facing the other way.
We didn’t have our camera on us when we drove back from the supermarket this morning, so Warren took this on his phone. When we returned, like regular tourists, with a camera, the place was swarming with police, so we refrained from snapping anything more.
I believe the humans got out alright.
